2018 Mary's Myth 'The Gift' Shiraz

A barrel of shiraz was gifted to the MM crew who then added their finishing flourishes. It’s ripe, intense, warmhearted and juicy shiraz with a tang of satsuma plum on the palate. Oaks adds spice but not timber, sitting into a medium to full-bodies style, a delicate orange/amaro-like edge on the finish giving it a distinctive note. 93 points

2020 Mary's Myth Clare Valley Riesling

A unique Riesling, utilising a specific Austrian yeast and kept on its light lees for four months, together encouraging a citrus-like sugar candy note, somewhere between musk sticks and lemon sherbet, with a delicate honeysuckle feel to. Palate texture is more familiar, with a soft pithy feel. Different, yes. And attractive because of it. 92 Points

2019 Mary's Myth Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Natural ferment, aged for 12 months in new French oak. The colour has a welcome ruby note, suggesting a medium-bodied style, and that it is. Familiar regional red/blueberry aromatics and flavours with earthy, almost-charred roast root vegetable savoury offsets and pliable tannins. 91 points

2019 Mary's Myth Langhorne Creek Shiraz

Natural ferment, matured in French oak for a year, one-third new. Good deep shiraz plum and blackberried characters. Tannins sit neatly in the frame, providing length and palate foundations. 90 points.
